Daily Schedule Below.
A Little insight.
It all started in 2021 when we all had the clocks set back during covid. Yoly (Pronounced: Joe-Lee) and Tyler found that it was their mission and vision to take on Austin Tx as being the number one boarding experience in all of Austin.
Imagine the ability to contact your caregiver at any time, knowing you won’t have to wait hours before a response. Daily morning updates to wake up to in knowing that your pups are having the time of their lives! Reliability in knowing that your caregiver is never going to fall back on the plans to which they’ve committed to. Established credibility that you can sleep well with knowing they’re in the hands of professionals and with someone 24/7. But not only that, imagine where the extra money saved would go to for ya’lls enrichment? You save on rates and you pay at the end.
Everything mentioned is only the beginning of what Austin’s Pet Escape has to offer here while being the best-priced boarding service. As we expand our services, you’ll be a part of a movement that is going to continue to make your life easier and your pup’s life better. Join us today and experience yourself! Talk soon!
Please note that the schedule is subject to change based on different needs and our pups outdoor time is closely monitored. With us being in Texas, they are limited in what they can handle in terms of heat.
What about kitties?
Cats are in a completely separate and secure space from the dogs. Our Aunt lives two houses down and she welcomes all of our feline friend’s dog-free!
Common Q & As Below
Common Q & As
How many dogs do you take in at a time? We are small local dog sitters that handle 3-4 pups overnight.
Where do the dogs eat & sleep? All pups eat & sleep inside their own crate at night in our home with the AC set to 70 degrees at all times
Is the price for day care added to the overnight price? No, the daycare rate is strictly for daycare clients, and the regular boarding is its own rate.
How long are they outside for at a time? Every dog is different, and if you’ve lived here in Texas for a good while, you would know that we are known for our heat! With that said, we’ve conducted a study by partnering with local shelters to know that the average time to go to the bathroom, excercise & socialize takes anywhere from 6-10 minutes per session. The age, size and breed also has a big factor, but on average 6-10 minutes when it’s 89+ degrees. The rest of the time is staying cool inside. We have multiple outings throughout the day, so cumulatively, they’re looking at about 45 minutes of supervised time outside.
If they’re only out for 6-10 minutes, what are they doing the rest of the time? Us having taken care of dogs our entire lives has shown us that most of the time, dogs just sleep for lack of better words. When there’s nothing much to do, they sleep, we read, and life is good.
Is there someone with them when outside? We always make sure there is someone with them when outside because we are in extreme temperatures here in Texas. We do this not just for the temperature but to ensure safe and good etiquette.
What’s “calm” time, and what do they do inside? Calm time is when we all take a breather to focus on zen. Energy is calm in the household where there’s no running around, wakeful relaxation. When they’re inside, we’re prioritizing detachment from needed outcomes, assuming all needs have been met (potty break, playtime, breakfast etc.). This is where crate training prior to boarding is emphasized, so they’re not confused but happy to have their time to unwind from the energy of waking up and getting after it, sort of speech.
Can we come inside? This is our home, and although we’re taking care of your babies, we kindly ask people to respect our space. We’re more than happy to show ya’ll our backyard for their great escape, but entering our home startles our other pups, leading to noise complaints.
Is there someone at the house with them at all times? One of us is almost always at the house. In the event that we are both away, it is never more than two hours to attend an appointment, buy supplies or just have a bite to eat.
